Australian Olympic field hockey player Tom Craig has apologized for his terrible mistake. Craig was arrested in Paris on Tuesday after allegedly trying to purchase cocaine from a drug dealer. He was released without charge on Wednesday.

In a statement, Craig said he was "deeply sorry" for his actions. "I made a terrible mistake and I take full responsibility for my actions," he said. "I am committed to learning from this experience and becoming a better person."

Craig is a member of the Australian men's hockey team, which is currently competing in the Olympics in Tokyo. He is expected to be available to play in Australia's next match on Thursday.

The Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) said it was "disappointed" by Craig's arrest. "The AOC expects all members of the Australian Olympic Team to behave in a responsible and ethical manner," the AOC said in a statement. "We are working with the Australian Federal Police to investigate this matter."
