Scotland face Germany in crucial Euro 2024 qualifier

Clarke's side need four points from their last two games to secure a play-off spot

Scotland will be looking to take a major step towards securing a place at Euro 2024 when they face Germany in their penultimate qualifier on Tuesday night.

Steve Clarke's side currently sit fourth in Group B, two points behind third-placed Israel. A win in Germany would move Scotland into the play-off places, with only one game remaining.

Clarke has targeted four points from Scotland's last two games, although that doesn't mean they will be playing for a draw in Frankfurt.

"We're not going to go there and sit in and defend for 90 minutes," Clarke said. "We're going to go there and try to win the game."

Scotland will be without Kieran Tierney and Scott McTominay for the match, but they will be boosted by the return of Andy Robertson.

Germany, meanwhile, have already qualified for Euro 2024 as hosts. However, they will be looking to finish their qualifying campaign on a high with a win against Scotland.

The match will be played at the Waldstadion in Frankfurt and will kick off at 7.45pm.
