OJ Simpson's Death Does Not Provide Closure for Ronald Goldman's Family

Goldman's Mother Still Seeking Justice

Despite OJ Simpson's death in October 2023, the family of Ronald Goldman, who was killed alongside Simpson's ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson in 1994, still seeks closure.

Fred Goldman, Ronald's father, said in a recent interview that Simpson's death "doesn't change anything" for him. "He took my son away from me. That's never going to change," Goldman said.

In 2007, a civil jury found Simpson liable for the deaths of Nicole and Ronald and ordered him to pay $33.5 million in damages to the Goldman and Simpson families.

However, Simpson only paid a small portion of the judgment before filing for bankruptcy.

Fred Goldman said he has never given up hope of collecting the full amount of the judgment, but he knows it may never happen.

"I'm not going to let it get me down," Goldman said. "I'm going to keep fighting for my son."
